Corporate Social Responsibility Plan for Novo Nordisk Canada

Danish pharmaceutical giant Novo Nordisk Canada needed a social marketing for business strategy for the Canadian market.  Esteemed Events was hired for a multi-phased project that involved educating senior management, developing a platform for social responsibility, related communications materials and a tool to filter incoming requests for donations.  The first phase included a full day course for key Novo Nordisk leaders on corporate social responsibility and an audit of their own giving history and that of their competitors.  As part of the audit, and in order to provide strategic recommendations, Esteemed Events interviewed key stakeholders.

In the next phase a national CSR positioning statement and strategy, with a set of corporate giving guidelines, and key communications material for the web were developed.  In addition, Esteemed Events designed an online evaluation tool, intended to measure the fit of incoming requests for funding against the defined criteria outlined in the national strategy.
